   Barton Brook Kennels & Animal Health Complex Inc. is located on 15 acres in Leicester, Massachusetts. It is a family owned and operated boarding kennel and animal shelter that is in the process of expanding their services to include Pet Cremations and a Memorial Park.

The Dykas-Gonet family wants to personally guarantee, that they are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality service.

       New!!!                    New!!!                    New!!!  At Home euthanasia, services are offered to those animals' who's quality of live has been compromised . The convenience and personal attention of this service cost no more than it would to make an appointment at an animal clinic. Home euthanasia's are done by appointment by a licensed Veterinarian in conjunction with individual or communal cremations arrangements. 
As a special gift pet owners will be given a clay paw impression of their pet as a keep sake.

 Individual or Partition Cremation, more than one animal placed into the chamber but is partitioned off. Ashes are kept separate from each individual animal. Ashes can be returned.       Mass or Communal, more than one animal placed in the chamber for cremation. Ashes not returned.
 

     Private Cremation, only one animal placed in the chamber at a time during the crematory process. BBK will perform private cremation on animals weighing 55 pounds or more. Our machine capacity is simply too big to do less. This method is very expensive and has no benefit over the individual or partition method.

BBK does not offer communal or private burial of pets. The Memorial Park will be for cremains and memory dedications.

Private Location Pick-Ups: There will be a $25.00 fee for the first 35 miles driving distance for the removal and transportation of pet remains from a private location. An additional .50 per mile beyond the original mileage stated. BBK does have an emergency after hours / weekend pickup service. This service would apply to pets that die at home. And often times it is to difficult for pet owners to transport remains themselves.

 Ashes Return Policy, Ashes can be returned in a week. Ashes are returned in a decorative box and a certificate of cremation. More information will be provided on our website for ordering permanent urns and vessels.

Memorial Park, 15+ acres are being set aside for the development of walking trails and gardens. Ashes or dedicated engraved markers in a pet’s memory can be incorporated into our 15 + acres of walking trails and gardens for all to enjoy.

BBK extends an invitation to all to share in our Memorial Park. If you have ashes from a pet, you can arrange for a permanent place within the park or dedicate a marker in a pet’s memory.

Special Programs,#1 Animals that have been in service at any time. For example: hearing, seeing, law enforcement, search / rescue, drug, handicap, armed forces. Will receive a memorial marker in that animals name to be placed in BBK’s Memorial Park at no cost.

Special Program #2 As a special gift from us we will donate 5% of the receipt for the above mentioned private or individual services to Barton Brook Kennels Homeless Animal Programs in your pet's name.

Call for availability, we prefer to do private cremations for animals weighing  55 lb. – 800 lb. because of the machine capacity.

   * For the handling and transportation of an animal from somewhere other than a animal facility to our location there is fee of $25.00  for the first 35 miles over that driving distance a charge of $.50 per mile additional.
